Hér syngur Neil Young um stjórnmál og Nixon meðal annars. Þetta er undarlegt og einmanalegt lag, eins og mörg góð lög. Hippakynslóðin hataði Nixon, skiljanlega, en samt syngur Young: "Even Richard Nixon has got soul".

Hunter S. Thompson komst svo að orði um forsetann fyrrverandi: "Nixon was so crooked that he needed servants to help him screw on his pants every morning". Hann skrifaði einnig: "By bringing in hundreds of thugs, fixers and fascists to run the Government, he was able to crank almost every problem he touched into a mindbending crisis". Thompson tileinkaði Nixon eina af bókum sínum: "To Richard Milhous Nixon, who never let me down."
